EDUCATION IS NOT PREPARATION FOR LIFE; EDUCATION IS LIFE ITSELF - JOHN DEWEY.
American philosopher and psychologist Dewey's words conclusively answers the age-old question involving the utility of education in man's life. We, the teachers, have dwelt on the question and searched for the answer to update ourselves in the mission of moulding our pupils for broadest fields of the society and toughest fields of the world. Rajarhat Sikshaniketan (H.S.) stands out of the rest of such institutions for constantly finding a plausibly explanation of education in an otherwise capitalized, commodified world where children's upbringing are sold and purchased beyond imagination.
In the post Covid arena of education — even in our Bengali medium schools — market economy looms large threatening the cherished ideals of honesty and nobility of a teacher. Hence the big boundary wall between merit and mediocrity is targeted and dismantled with the big axe of money and man power. It is this unlevel field of neo-education in which Rajarhat Sikshaniketan (H.S.)-famiIy have pitched in for the sake of conferring a new, plausible, permissible, pertinent meaning to the very complex term of education, which is nothing but — in the language of Dewey — life itself.
For the sake of ensuring universal education we invite all and sundry to enroll names without depriving the have-nots and relatively backwards; the Children With Special Needs receive a special treatment in our enlightened mansion of education, with neo-nomenclature — Children With Special Abilities. For the single-parent children we have thrown open our doors with no-fees facility till he completes his education from our school. So far as the co-curricular activities are concerned Rajarhat Sikshaniketan (H.S.) is an ideal institution of the state with a literally level grassy field and elevated resplendent dais for showcasing stamina and talent of our students.
At last, if not the least, our dedicated faculty is aware of their duties and responsibilities, our dedicated supporting staff are aware of the needs of the children and our responsible management are aware of the need of the institution. You are requested to rely on the efforts of the trio, the result of which is unfathomable as life itself : life, what we all are earnestly concerned with.
